Red's Equines In Need Sanctuary (REINS) began in 2014 when we first accepted five horses from the local animal control authorities.
Our mission quickly became the rehabilitation of these abused horses and to find them suitable forever homes. The horses stay with REINS until such a home is found. Due to space limitations, we are a horse sanctuary to a limited number of animals. All the horses at REINS are seen regularly by our veterinarian and farrier. We are located in Oroville, California.
